This position is located in our Head Office at 300 Union Street, Saint John, New Brunswick.

The JDI Supply Chain team is responsible for the purchasing and supply of goods and services across our varied business operations and is currently seeking candidates for the role of Analyst – Fuel & Chemical Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Obtain relevant data from various sources (internal & external) for finished goods, logistics, raw materials, and commodities
  • Analysis of Fuel & Chemical Supply Chain to provide management with information required to make decisions
  • Implement compliance reporting - pricing, quantity, and agreement compliance with appropriate oversight and controls
  • Development and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • Ensure price and quantity accuracy through controls, checks, and authentication methods
  • Implement dashboards for oversight and management of the Fuel & Chemical Supply Chain
  • Troubleshooting & problem investigation
  • Create process improvement plans where needed
  • Support a culture of teamwork, enthusiasm, and a proactive nature within the team
  • Research and develop business requirements for Fuel & Chemicals Supply Chain with data, analysis, and interaction with stakeholders
  • Develop business cases, project updates, and summaries as well as preparing needs analysis and problem definition; identify current state and desired future state
  • Ensure clean and accurate data is available and repeatable
  • Facilitate professional and constant communication with end users to understand areas of opportunity

 

Experience & Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary Education required with a preference for Economics, Business, or Commerce
  • 2+ years of experience working in commodity analysis
  • Curious mindset that can investigate issues and develop solutions
  • Aptitude for technology and systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
