Customer Service Supervisor

based in Dieppe, NB 


Cavendish Farms is a leading producer of frozen food products for retail and foodservice markets throughout Canada, the United States and around the world.  We have two state-of-the-art potato processing plants in PEI, one in Lethbridge, AB and another in Jamestown, ND. Headquartered in Dieppe, NB, the company also operates an appetizer plant in Wheatley, ON and has sales office locations in Toronto, Montreal and Boston.

 

Working as a key member of the Supply Chain and Logistics Department, the Customer Service Supervisor ensures the order flow process is as efficient as possible, orders are cleaned and released to Logistics on-time and process is managed within budget.  The incumbent drives improvement and reduces cost within their department and collaboratively within Supply Chain.  He/she ensures the needs of the customers are being satisfied within established policies, procedures and strategies while achieving targets.

 

The Successful Candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (or related field) 
  • 2-5 years relevant work experience;
  • Experience leading a team;
  • Process Improvement mindset;
  • Detail oriented;
  • Ability to solution solve within a certain set of guidelines;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • High competency in computer and software skills;
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through;
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement and manage the policies, procedures & strategies related to the Customer Service Dept.  Ensure all CS activities support and strengthen the strategic objectives of the organization and best practices. 
  • Manage performance of Order Management personnel on daily basis.  Ensure work load balance, scheduling and adequate back up in place. 
  • Assist in daily problem solving and enable communication with Sales.
  • Develop & maintain collaborative relationships with Supply Chain stake holders to analyze, evaluate and execute where necessary resolutions/alternatives. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve Customer satisfaction/score.  Interact on daily basis with various Departments to manage service exceptions
  • Responsible for the coordination of various reports being produced (i.e: Daily Management Board, Outstanding Orders, Load Factor, Average LB per order,  Service report (case fill/service level percentage), weekly Perfect Order report).
