BUSINESS DEVEOPMENT MANAGER

We are currently searching for an experienced BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia who can partner with multiple departments to drive measurable results that benefit our business.

Our ideal candidate will be able to implement an effective sales approach that expands our reach and strengthens client relationships. They will also actively seek out business opportunities that can boost revenue and set our company apart.

CFM (Custom Fabricators and Machinists) is an integrated provider of support to the world’s most demanding industries. We manufacture, service, and install our customers highly specialized system(s). We have multiple facilities in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia to serve Atlantic Canada, the Northeastern US, and the World.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes growth and positive customer ratings.
• Maintain positive professional relationships with clients.
• Monitor sales progress to ensure that corporate goals are being met.
• Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders.
• Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company’s products or services.
• Travel throughout Atlantic Canada & Eastern Seaboard of USA by car or plane will be required.

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or Finance.
• 5 – 10 years' experience in business development, marketing, or a sales-related field.
• Proven record of sales growth.
• Experience conducting industry research to develop effective sales solutions.
• Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills.
