MANAGER, SALES PLANNING & OPERATIONS

TORONTO

The Manager, Sales Planning & Operations is responsible for supporting the overall productivity and execution plans related to the operational effectiveness of the Irving Tissue Company sales organization. Reporting to the VP Sales – Canada, the Manager, Sales Planning & Operations works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives, priorities and processes are enabled within the sales organization and ensures alignment of operational compliance to Irving Tissue North America standards.



Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist in preparation of period performance and forecasts, annual strategic plan, and annual budgets
  • Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts
  • As needed, coordinates planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within Irving Tissue North America
  • Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization
  • Responsible for timely, accurate development and submission of sales forecast for Irving Tissue Company
  • Responsible for cross-functional coordination of any sales forecast/supply issues/opportunities for Irving Tissue Company
  • Work closely with the Irving Tissue Company sales team to ensure understanding, compliance, and timely updating to provide the organization with the most accurate read of the business
  • Achievement of sales, profit, and strategic objectives for the business unit supported

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education 

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel 

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales or sales management experience in a business-to-business environment 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 

  • Attention to detail 

  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic 

  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic environment 

  • Ability to deal effectively with internal and external customers
