SHOP SCHEDULER

 

Irving Equipment Limited is a well-established Heavy Lift and Specialized Transport company with a diverse fleet of mobile and crawler cranes, SPMTs, and other specialized transport and lifting equipment with locations in Saint John, New Brunswick, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and several other branches around Atlantic Canada and the United States.

 

We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Shop Scheduler to join our dynamic team in Saint John, New Brunswick.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Responsible for prioritizing maintenance issues related to all mobile equipment on site.
  • Plans and schedules corresponding workload with existing maintenance personnel. On floor supervisor of maintenance personnel
  • Coordinate repairs with maintenance staff, mechanics, operations, supervisors, branches, and dispatch
  • Prioritize schedule based on operations demand
  • Contact satellite branches to prioritize upcoming repairs
  • Keep in close communications with stores on parts required for schedule
  • Keep in close communication with shop foremen on schedule of repairs
  • Update relevant computer system (OneWorld) with completed items (Certs, PMs MVIs, etc.)


The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • Trade Certification or College Diploma
  • 1-3 years in an industrialized, maintenance environment
  • Experience in the Construction or Equipment industry is considered an asset
