We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our JDI IT team. 

 

Position Overview:


The Talent Acquisition Specialist for JDI IT will report to the Human Resources Manager. The successful candidate will be directly responsible for recruiting talent to build the highly dynamic IT workforce that enables the growth of the digital enterprise through the Customers we partner with.

 

Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Attract, source, select and secure the right talent for JDI IT
  • Execute the recruitment process for all candidates including screening,  interviews and working closely with Hiring Managers on candidate suitability
  • Research and understand industry trends and benchmarking
  • Plan and execute full scale hiring events with a focus on promoting our IT brand and opportunities in the market
  • Manage key performance indicators for recruitment activities on a weekly basis
  • Liaison with our Leadership Team to ensure hiring forecasts are current
  • Build referral networks and candidate pools through schools, your network, social medial and external networking sources
  • Identify new market opportunities to target for top talent
  • Help develop and execute recruitment strategy


Position Requirements, Education and Experience:

  • Education Required:  Post-Secondary Education Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience 
  • Years of Experience: 2-5 years related experience in recruitment
  • A track record for bringing forward new and creative solutions to recruiting opportunities and constantly seeking opportunities to improve the attract and recruit process
  • Knowledge and experience in the IT industry with an understanding of the diversification of technology roles within the organization and align skills to the right role
  • Energetic self-starter who enjoys working in a fast paced, team oriented environment
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills allowing you to manage multiple applicants while anticipating shifts in priorities
  • Strong organizational skills demonstrating excellent attention to detail
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to facilitate meetings with internal and external parties
  • Passionate about recruitment and proven success in identifying top talent
  • Knowledge of sales skills and the ability/willingness to persuade others
  • A keen eye for detail and demonstrating a high sense of urgency in delivering high quality customer service
