We are currently seeking applicants for Manager, IT Operations Build, located in Saint John, New Brunswick.  Our head office location offers an employee fitness facility, as well as a café and parking garage.


The successful candidate will be responsible for the build and delivery of Operations Infrastructure in a dynamic and fast paced environment.  As part of the JDI IT Operations Management team, you will work to deliver key business transformation initiatives as defined by the strategic plan while improving the reliability, predictability, and performance of the environment. The successful candidate will manage delivery for a diverse and complex infrastructure, that supports a dynamic, fast growing business covering manufacturing, retail, transportation, natural resources, and consumer products.

  • Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Related Area
  • Years of Experience Required: 7+ Years of Management in Infrastructure, Operations, and IT Service Delivery
  • Experience in Complex IT Environments (Network, System and Storage, and End User)
  • Experience Leading and Coaching Diverse Teams
  • Experience with Agile Development and Delivery, and SCRUM
  • Experience in Continuous Improvement (Lean, Six Sigma)

  • Maintain business relationships, and manage deliverable expectations and commitments
  • Manage the workload, assess, organize, prioritize, obstacles and commitment
  • Manage the team, promote empowerment, individual contribution, and engagement

  • Measure and manage delivery quality and velocity
  • Ensure that the priority needs of the team are being met to the best of our ability
