WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

In business since 1957, Kent Homes is one of the largest home builders and mobile shelter rental companies in Atlantic Canada. We have 150,000 square feet of space dedicated to building quality homes year-round. We serve remote, rural, and urban centers throughout Atlantic Canada and Ontario. 

Key Responsibilities:

-          Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

-          Inspect products upon reception.

-          Accurately pick and deliver products for homes according to schedule.

-          Maintain accurate inventory movement in and out of warehouse.

-          Complete cycle counts as required.

-          Complete necessary documentation as required.

-          Prepare, ship and receive product as required.

-          Ability to perform heavy lifting as required.

-          Ability to prioritize tasks.

Qualifications:

-          Previous warehouse experience is considered an asset.

-          Valid Forklift (both sitting and standing) certification considered a strong asset.

-          RF scanner experience considered an asset.

-          Electric Pallet truck experience considered an asset.

-          Great communication skills, both written and verbal, along with computer knowledge.

-          Strong attention to details.

-          Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team.

-          Perform all duties of the job with a high degree of safety consciousness.

-          Basic product knowledge considered an asset.
