Administrative Clerk (Contract)

 

Midland Transport Limited has become a leader in the transportation industry by providing superior quality service to our customers.  Our services include LTL, T/L, Courier Services, and Third Party Logistics/ Brokerage which provide the convenience of one-stop shipping.

 

Midland Transport is currently seeking an Administrative Clerk reporting to the Office Supervisor at the Concord, ON location.  The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a “Can Do” attitude.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education Required: High School Diploma
  • Years of Experience Required: <2 years
  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Problem solving ability with required sense of urgency
  • Detail-oriented
  • Knowledge of AS400 and MS Office
  • Transport experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Office Supervisor, you will be responsible for all Terminal Administrative duties, which include but are not limited to: Customer Service, Purchase Orders, Terminal Cash Accounts, POD Entry, OS&D, Terminal Payroll, Terminal Reports, P&D Entry
