Professional Driver - Dedicated Run
Midland Transport Limited has become a leader in the transportation industry by providing superior quality service to our customers. Our services include LTL, T/L, Courier Services, and Third Party Logistics/ Brokerage which provide the convenience of one-stop shipping.
Midland Transport is currently seeking a Professional Drivers - Dedicated Runs. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a "Can Do" attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dedicated linehaul run from Toronto ON to York PA
- Running on time and overnights
- Deliver freight to assigned locations
- Occasional physical labour required
- Provide efficient, reliable, professional service to customers
Qualifications:
- Class one (1) driver’s license
- 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record & background check
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a commitment to provide Superior Quality Service
- Alternating 2 week schedule (5 round trips bi-weekly)
- Week 1: Leaving Toronto on Sunday, Tuesday &Thursday
- Week 2: Leaving Toronto on Monday & Wednesday
- 10 hr book off is required in York PA prior to loading Northbound
- Paid uniforms
- Extensive benefits including RRSP matching and 3 weeks vacation upon start
- Paid 4 day orientation course, including food and lodging
