Industrial Controls Technician Student - Fall 2024

We currently have exciting opportunities within our operations for Industrial Controls Technician Students to join our teams in Saint John and Utopia, New Brunswick, for the Fall 2024 Work Term.

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a 3-year Industrial Controls Technology Program and in good academic standing 
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Electrical skills   

 

What You Can Expect from your Work Term:

You will get a hands-on work term working in our state-of-the-art facilities alongside our world-class professionals. Tasks may include: 

  • Repair, maintenance, and installation of control equipment
  • Provide assistance to qualified tradespeople in their day-to-day activities
  • Plant instrumentation & electrical systems
  • DCS
  • PLC

This position will be based on-site at one of our 4 mill locations. We have 3 mills located in Saint John, NB, and the 4th is located approximately 45 minutes outside of the city in Utopia, NB. Each student is responsible to provide their own reliable form of transportation to and from work.
