Mechanical Technician Student - Fall 2024 Work Term
We currently have exciting opportunities within our operations for Mechanical Technician Students to join our teams in Saint John and Utopia, New Brunswick, for the Fall 2024 Work Term.
Qualifications:
- Currently Enrolled in a 2-year Mechanical Technician Program and in good academic standing
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
What You Can Expect from your Work Term:
You will get a hands-on work term working in our state-of-the-art facilities alongside our world-class professionals. Tasks may include:
- Provide optimal work experience in all aspects of the Mechanical trade in a safe conscientious environment
- Perform quality mechanical maintenance activities in a flexible teamwork environment dedicated to continuous improvement
- Provide assistance to qualified tradespersons in their day-to-day activities
- May be responsible at some locations for conducting tours and carrying out inspections
- Prevention maintenance, troubleshooting, and process improvement

This position will be based on-site at one of our 4 mill locations. We have 3 mills located in Saint John, NB, and the 4th is located approximately 45 minutes outside of the city in Utopia, NB. Each student is responsible to provide their own reliable form of transportation to and from work.
