SAWMILL LABORER / OPERATORS

Irving Forest Products, Inc, a growing company on the leading edge of technology in the sawmill industry.

We are currently accepting applications for Laborers / Equipment Operators.  We are looking for safety-oriented, energetic individuals to join our team!

Qualifications:

• Education Required: High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree or Trade Certificate an asset.
• Years of Experience Required: Entry or Experienced
• Self-motivated hard worker who wants to work with the best technology in the industry.
• Must be willing to do shift work and some weekend work.

Key Responsibilities:

• General labor work associated with sawmills which includes cleanup of areas, assistance with quality related tasks, lumber handling.
• Ability to get trained on stationary equipment operation such as log deck, lumber stacker, trimmer, wrapper.
• Housekeeping of work area and assistance with maintenance of operating equipment.
• Following safe work practices for both operation of equipment and mobility within the operation.  
• Have the ability to work in a team environment that is committed to working safely while focused on production.
• Ability to work shift and weekend work will be required.
