Universal Truck and Trailer is Atlantic Canada's largest heavy duty truck and trailer dealership featuring the most up-to-date dealer service bays in Southern New Brunswick.  We are an authorized sales, service, parts and warranty dealership for premium products including Freightliner, and Wester Star.  In addition, we service all makes and models for class 6, 7 and 8 vehicles, including luxury class RV's.


We focus on delighting our customers through continuously developing our team.


We currently have an opening at our location in Dieppe, New Brunswick for a Systems Analyst.


The successful candidate reporting to the Director of Operations, will be ensuring the comprehensive supervision and coordination of projects, namely collaboration with departments, close relationship with supervisors and managers, and monitoring of costs and schedules. 


Working with the management team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices. 


Responsibilities:

Act as subject matter expert for company’s business system

Ensure business system use is optimized to support business processes

Work with system users and continuous improvement team to increase process stability and maturity in order to maximize business system capabilities

Ensure data is properly managed, as it relates to quality and accessibility

Ensure that the user community has the necessary skills and knowledge to operate efficiently and effectively within the system

Research current trends in industry to ensure the business system evolves to meet future needs

Work with business system vendor to resolve issues and drive improvement of functionality


Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or related fields considered an asset.

3-5+ years’ experience in related field.

Knowledge of accounting /ERP systems (experience with ADP/CDK an asset) or other dealership management systems.

Advanced excel skills.

Demonstrate ability to energize, empower and engage team to get results.

Works well in a team and ability to deal with conflict and adversity when leading teams through change.

Analyze, comprehend and recommend financial objectives that help increase sales , margins and overall effectiveness, efficiency and customer service. 

Must demonstrate ability to organize and more importantly prioritize.  Experience with project management tools and processes. 

Strong skills in management, communication, negotiation and problem solving.

Must have a reputation for effective execution and influence.
