The candidate will also work directly with the Senior/Brand Manager, supporting key marketing initiatives related to innovation, sales support, packaging, and media creative and brand planning. The candidate will also work with cross functional partners in Shopper Marketing, Ecommerce, Sales, Sales Strategy, Product Development, as well as interagency partners in creative, media, shopper marketing, and PR, to execute strong brand plans. As the Nielsen Marketing Team Lead, this candidate will work closely with the VP Marketing to support leadership analytics requirements.



Brand Plan Strategies, and Execution:

  • Support Brand Manager in development Brand Plan and annual Marketing Plan 
  • Support Brand Manager in development of 360 plans and media creative.
  • Ownership of tactical executions including contests, online, digital, CRM and email programs
  • Own Execution of account specific programs with Shopper Marketing
  • Manage coupon budgets effectively ensuring programs are delivering to objectives
  • Execute packaging development plans
  • Assist in the commercialization of new products, including product innovation and renovation, and GS1
  • Executional project management of brand plan tactics with agency partners and/or other team members


Agency & Cross functional:

  • Liaise with external agency partners to drive brand strategy and associated tactics, including associated trackers for brand plan programs and in-store executions
  • Liase with Sales Strategy for sales team support
  • Work closely with Shopper Marketing and Ecommerce to ensure integrated commercial plan
  • Work with Supply Chain to align Royale programs and executional timelines

Analytics and Insights:


  • Use Nielsen analytics to assist in understanding trends along with deep dives for opportunities and insights
  • Understand retail, and competitive environment to support analytics and strategic business decisions and inform business issues/opportunities
  • Understand regional insights,
  • Establish and own yearly share targets for ROYALE team
    Monthly reporting


  • Minimum 4 years of marketing experience in CPG, with 2-3 years experience at ABM level
  • University Degree; MBA Preferred
  • Expertise in Nielsen including working with Nieslen Markettrack, homescan analysis, and ability to translate data and research into meaningful insights and recommendations; previous experience with Nielsen and data analysis and reporting is required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Can do, results driven
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Proficiency with Powerpoint
  • Experience working with agencies is an asset
