We are looking for a qualified Contract Manager for our Dartmouth, NS office.


The Contract Manager will report to the Program Manager and focus on the development of contracts and Statements of Work, maintaining positive customer relationships and ensuring obligations are understood and met by the programs team.  In addition, this role is required to identify any issues or potential improvements, and carry out any changes to the current processes, as authorized by the Program Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Undergraduate degree in Commerce/Business, Engineering or Supply Chain
  • 5-8+ years related experience in a contract management and/or a technical client services role
  • Required Technical Qualifications: P. Eng or MBA or PMP or Professional Purchasing Designation (candidate must have at least one)
  • Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian government security clearances
Key Responsibilities & Outcomes:
  • Administer Supportability and New Ship Construction contracts, managing all related contract changes and amendments
  • Manage complex Government procurement contracts by working and negotiating with the customer’s project staff and contract managers. Utilize strong communication skills to prepare proposals, estimates, and contract changes
  • Submit and track contract deliverables while maintaining a contract deliverable index with clients and establishing clear and concise definitions of contract deliverable status.
  • Monitor transaction compliance (invoicing, collections, etc).  Leverage IT tools to improve contract performance reporting efficiency and outcomes
  • Prepare and review documentation and support project performance reporting
