Director of New Business Development

We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Director of New Business Development to join our team in Saint John, NB.

The Director of New Business Development will develop, champion, and implement strategies to ensure long-term growth and profitability of specific Transportation & Logistics service business growth with an initial focus on the Marine segment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work with Division V/P and leadership team to establish business priorities and goals
• Develop strategy for new service business growth
• Lead market and capability analysis to determine where service business growth opportunity exists.
• Develop plans for entry and lead the execution of the plan.
• Establish KPIs for new business ventures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or management
• Successful track record in developing new business
• Working experience in commercial processes
• Proficiency in market analysis and forecasting
• P&L experience
• Experience in Marine Services an asset
