Irving Woodlands LLC, a leader in the East Coast forest products industry known for its commitment to quality products, service, and sound environmental management, is seeking a Field Forester / Forest Technician for our Woodlands operation.
Qualifications:
- Education Preferred (But not Required):
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Forestry
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills
- Must be able to work in the United States, as well as occasionally travel to Canada
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan our forestry operations for our Woodlands Operation in Northern Maine
- Ability to work outdoors, travel through and work in one of the largest privately owned forest landmasses in North America
- Implement forest prescriptions while following strict company environmental rules and policies
- Must enjoy working in an industrial forestry environment, while focusing on continuous improvement
- Ability to implement world class forestry & conservation programs on a large scale
- Working indvidually and as part of a team on a large scale landbase in Northern Maine
