We currently have an opportunity for a Human Resources Co-Op Student.



  • Education Required: Business Administration students available for co-op work term and in good academic standing
  • Years of Experience Required: <2 years
  • Self-starter, attention to detail, punctual, consistent, and flexible to changing tasks
  • Goal oriented, demonstrate initiative, and enjoy working in a team environment
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and decision making abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with excellent typing abilities
  • Driver’s license is a necessity

Key Responsibilities:


As a student working in the office, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative and HR related activities that will give you an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, these duties include:

  • Prepare documentation for new employee onboarding program
  • Utilize our human resources information system (HCM) i.e. employees changes, updating employee listing
  • Perform any tasks associated with administering HR programs
  • Assist with the administration of tracking training, performance evaluations and other administrative duties that arise
  • Coordinate events i.e. bbq’s , meals
  • Assist in various tasks  for Safety Coordinator and Training Coordinator
  • Complete special projects as required
