We are currently seeking candidates for the position of HRIS Administrator to join our team!

 As a HRIS Administrator with J.D. Irving, Limited, you will work as part of the HR Shared Services Organization, located at our Head Office in Saint John, New Brunswick. As a member of the team, you will provide a superior customer experience to our internal customers, and stakeholders across various business sectors.



  • Education Required: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
  • Years of Experience Required: 2-5 years
    • Ability to quickly learn new systems and previous Microsoft Office experience
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems: HR (HCM Cloud & Taleo), time (Kronos), payroll (JD Edwards & ADP), Blue Cross, and Sharepoint
  • Self-motivated, with a strong desire to succeed
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced, multi deadline, team oriented environment
  • Detail oriented with a genuine career interest in the area of HR, payroll, and benefits
  • Sense of urgency and ownership over assigned tasks
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to speak French is not required but is considered and asset

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Process daily transactions to ensure systems are maintained with guaranteed accuracy & timely completion.
  • Audit and Reconcile data to ensure systems are in sync
  • Provide filing/scanning & general document support services (including pay stub distribution)   
  • Escalate issues in a timely manner to ensure efficiency & accuracy of data
  • Provide first level support to employees, managers, and business partners on the phone and through e-mail/skype in the area of systems, payroll, and benefits.
  • Assign second/third tier inquiries to appropriate representatives
  • Maintain a Client Services Information Resource Centre
  • Identify & support process improvement opportunities
  • Additional duties as required
