Human Resources Student Job – Summer 2021 – Woodlands and Sawmill Divisions
Woodlands and Sawmill division are currently sourcing a motivated student to be part of our Human Resources team. As a HR student you will be responsible for a variety of administrative and HR related activities that will give you an opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience.

Qualifications:
- Education Required: Business
Administration/HR students available for co-op or Summer work term
and in good academic standing
- Years of Experience Required: <2 years
- Self-starter, attention to detail, punctual,
consistent, and flexible to changing tasks
- Goal oriented, demonstrate initiative, and enjoy
working in a team environment
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and decision making
abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with excellent typing
abilities
- Driver’s license is a necessity
- Assist
with full-cycle recruitment, including attracting and sourcing candidates
, screening, interviews and working closely with Hiring Managers on
candidate suitability
- Work
collaboratively with team members from various departments on a variety of
ad hoc requests
- Utilize our human resources information system (HCM)
i.e. employees changes, updating employee listing
- Assist with
performance management, industrial relations, and other HR related duties
that arise
- Lead and complete special projects as required
