REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
 

Cavendish Agri Services supports farmers in growing healthy and productive crops. We have 13 manufacturing/retail locations throughout Atlantic Canada and Maine. Our primary products include fertilizers, crop protectants and technical expertise.

 

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for executing sales and building strong customer relationships in Northwestern New Brunswick, covering roughly the area between Woodstock and Saint-Quentin. Knowledge of the agriculture industry, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure and the ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic work environment is crucial. He/she will be a results-driven, self-starter with a “Can Do” attitude who will be innovative in dealing with problems and in identifying and taking advantage of all opportunities.

 

The Regional Sales Manager for Northwestern New Brunswick is a home office based role.

 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all sales of fertilizer, crop protectants chemicals and other agricultural related supplies within a designated territory; 
  • Proactively grow the client base and develop key business initiatives in order to grow sales volume within the assigned territory; 
  • Identify new sales leads and new markets for products and services
  • Cultivate positive business building relationships with our customers in the farming community; 
  • Work directly with customers, providing Agronomic services and solutions to help them be successful and grow their Business. 
  • Continuously seek customer feedback and ensure follow up is completed when required
  • Represent the company in a professional, positive and pleasant manner. 

Successful candidate will possess a combination of the following qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Sciences or Agriculture with experience in an agricultural environment; P. Ag or CCA designation is preferred
  • 2-3 years sales experience within the agricultural industry
  • Post-secondary education in a related field coupled with several years of experience would also be considered
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet multiple project and priority deadlines
  • Fluently bilingual in both English and French
  • Travel to Canada and being able to successfully cross Canada's border is a requirement for this position
