Operations Manager (Pile Driving)

OPERATIONS MANAGER (PILE DRIVING) in Saint John, New Brunswick

We are currently seeking applicants for the position of OPERATIONS MANAGER-Pile Driving, to join our fast-paced, dynamic team in Saint John, New Brunswick. Reporting to the Director, of Asset Management, the Operations Manager-Pile Driving will be responsible for the achieving key performance measures and providing safety leadership. The position will be located in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage and oversee all pile driving operations, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
• Supervise and support the operations team, including crane operators, riggers, and other field personnel.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during project execution.
• Manage equipment maintenance and ensure all machinery is in good working condition.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices.
• Control project budgets and manage resources effectively.

 Qualifications: 

• Education Required: Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Operations or Engineering, or Associate’s Degree with equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related industry; management experience in construction strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in pile driving operations and project management.
• Strong knowledge of various piling systems and deep foundation techniques.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
