We are looking for a motivated individual to join to the Chipman Sawmill team as a Production Supervisor.
The Job:
- Ensuring safety, quality, and environmental standards are met
- Performance management for a production team of 16-20 employees
- Training and development for team members
- Meeting daily and weekly production requirements
- Scheduling personnel, submitting weekly payroll, and generating daily reports
- Education Required: Trade Certification or Associate’s Degree, preferably in a technical, mechanical, or forestry related discipline
- Years of Experience Required:
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience, or
- 3-5 years of experience in an industrial setting
- Committed to top performance in a safe work environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Available to work a weekly rotating schedule, which includes day shifts and night shifts
