Opportunities for Summer Student General Labourer Positions

Are you:

• A student returning to a post-secondary institution who has:

  • A Willingness and ability to perform different tasks on a repetitive basis in an indoor structured environment;

  • A Willingness to try new processes, work with changing production demands, and promote new ideas & suggestions for improvement

  • A Desire to learn new skills and experiences

  • A high degree of safety awareness

  • Comfortable working with tools and experience working in the construction industry in any, or all, of the following trades, will be considered an asset: 

    • Carpentry

    • Roofing

    • Crackfilling

    • Cabinet Installation

    • Flooring Installation

• The ideal candidate will have an open mind and is eager & willing to learn new things, and demonstrate an ability to work in a fast paced-ever changing environment, while also promoting new ideas & suggestions for change. The ideal candidate must be hardworking, a self-starter, punctual, and a team player with a strong work ethic

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm (45 hours per week).
