Irving Consumer Products produces branded and private label bathroom tissue, facial tissue, paper towels, as well as napkins.


The Product Manager is responsible for effectively executing product and customer launches through evaluation of business opportunities, recommending potential program and SKU assortment changes, developing and managing overall execution timelines, and ensuring cross functional integration and alignment across all key areas of the business during product transitions.

This role requires close coordination and interaction with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Development, Finance and Operations to ensure that overall project goals and objectives are met.  The Product Manager acts as a key business resource to the Sales organization in opportunity identification and quantification, along with developing and maintaining a tool kit of product design specifications, SKU and complexity guidelines, program development costs, promotional options, and competitive information.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing or any related fields. 
  • More than 5 years of relevant work experience; multifunction experience preferred
  • Master degree in a related field of study is considered as an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively coordinate cross functional activities which drive timely customer and product launches, optimize growth and profitability goals.
  • Develop, manage and report through regular communication on product, customer, and project development status.
  • Develop and maintain a tool kit for the sales group focusing, product design, (IPC & competitive), program & sku guidelines, packaging development, as well as promotional & merchandising recommendations.
  • Evaluate and quantify potential business opportunities, confirming Business capacity and capability to pursue.
  • Utilize syndicated data, consumer research, and consumer and shopper insights to help guide product development strategies.
  • Manage and integrate cross functional timelines to ensure delivery of Business Initiatives.
  • Manage Development and Initiative process and to ensure delivery of next generation product improvements and Business Expansion.
