Senior Adobe Commerce/Magento Full Stack Developer

We are currently seeking applicants for the position of a Senior Adobe Commerce/Magento Full Stack Developer on our E-Commerce team based out of our Head Office in Saint John, NB.

Responsibilities:

  • Ecommerce platform SME that supports development team with issues
  • Enforces implementation best practices across team
  • Co-ordinates with QA team for smoke testing and build promotion
  • Can contribute to implementation of stories capacity permitting
  • Spans across multiple scrum pods
  • Provides best practices for general Front-End/Back-End development techniques along with niche Magento/Adobe Commerce best practices.
  • Provides support to Program Manager, Product Owner, Development Partners, 3rd party Business Partners and IT on technical design or general problematic issues team lead needs help resolving

Duties will include:

  • Write and develop, working with server logic, APIs (application programming interfaces), and other back-of-the-screen processes.
  • Design, develop, codes, runs tests, builds, utilizes, and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software, extension development, extension enhancements, module development and related.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and business partners to review and understand software requirements to implement the infrastructure needed to support recommended technologies.
  • Lead the team of developers (both back-end and front-end) working with testing frameworks, performance testing, use of auditing and profiling tools, and emulators.
  • Build and maintain a user-friendly eCommerce platform that perfectly meets our needs.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in IT, or a related field 
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written
  • 4+ years experience related to Adobe Commerce Cloud and all related technologies
  • Excellent skills and knowledge in all topics related to Magento
  • Hold expert certifications for Magento development
  • Adobe Commerce (Expert) Certification
  • Project Management skills and experience
  • Deep knowledge and experience of working with existing and creating new APIs, webhooks, feeds and similar related topics for numerous types of system integrations.
  • Deep knowledge and experience of New Relic and other analysis tools to troubleshoot and focus on problem areas for improvements.
  • Experience focused in both agile and waterfall work types, and in tools such as Azure Devops, Jira, MS Teams, Slack and related
