HCM BUSINESS ANALYST

We currently have an opportunity for an HCM Business Analyst in Saint John, NB, reporting to the HRIS Manager. The HRIS team supports payroll, benefits, and system related services to a group of our internal affiliated clients.

Key Responsibilities:

·   Collaborate with business partners to capture and evaluate business requirements; perform business process analysis, process design/redesign in HR, Payroll and Time Keeping area. Appropriately analyze business processes to ensure enterprise consistency, simplicity, and best practice.

·    Map business requirements into HRIS and perform fit gap analysis.

·    Engage with onsite and offshore development teams to build the system solutions.

·   Collaborate in planning, design, development and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.

·    Perform functional configuration, troubleshooting and support all phases of a project life cycle including design, development, testing, training and documentation adhering to IT delivery and governance process.

·    Document Business Process documents and functional specs. Maintain requirements and business process master list.


 

Successful Candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or Engineering.

  • 2-5 years work experience.

  • Proven experience in designing and analyzing HR business processes.

  • Proven ability to learn quickly while working independently with minimal one on one assistance.

  • Ability to work and deliver under aggressive time schedules.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to proactively collaborate with cross functional IT and business teams.

  • Working experience with Oracle HCM Fusion, Taleo, JD Edwards Payroll, ADP, and Kronos.
