SENIOR HR BUSINESS PARTNER

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Corporate Services' Human Resources team in the role of Senior Human Resources Business Partner at our Saint John, New Brunswick head office location.

 

In partnership with senior leadership, the Senior Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for delivering key strategic Human Resource initiatives to the business, while simultaneously fostering consistent and positive employee relations.

 

This role is responsible to advance and leverage Human Resource practices and works collaboratively with the Centres of Excellence. You will partner with the business to plan and organize the workforce to effectively meet company objectives.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7-10 years’ work experience in Human Resource, with demonstrated experience working with senior leadership
  • CPHR Designation is an asset  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with a sense of urgency
  • Energetic, dynamic self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to lead change
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • MS Office proficiency

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide advice and guidance to management and staff regarding all areas of HR employee relations through building positive working relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Ensure successful execution of HR programs and policies regarding engagement, performance management, training and development, onboarding, succession planning, talent acquisition, compensation, employee relations, recognition, wellness, rewards programs and event planning
  • Ensure HR processes are delivered on time and with highest quality standards
  • Develop communication plans, prepare and deliver required communications, presentations and correspondence
  • Deliver the highest quality standards to support our vision to build, align, and engage the workforce
