We are looking for a qualified Senior Marine Technologist (Mechanical, Electrical, Hull) for our Victoria, BC office.


  • Education Required: Associate’s Diploma in Engineering Technology with 10 years’ experience or QL6B certification with Canadian Navy
  • Knowledge and experience working in an ILS role
  • Experience in technical writing and proficient with MS Office
  • Must have attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to meet project deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) or MASIS is considered an asset
  • Experience working in a DWP/ECWP Planning role is considered an asset
  • Experience in a Quality Assurance Role is considered an asset
  • Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian government security clearance

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting engineering studies and analysis to provide technical solutions to stated technical/logistic or operational requirements/problems including preparation of Engineering Changes (ECs)
  • Defining standards and criteria relevant to equipment or systems maintenance
  • Performing analysis of maintenance, repair and overhaul data
  • Investigating Unsatisfactory Condition Reports (UCRs) and Technical Failure Reports (TFRs)
  • Preparing data for initial provisioning and repair parts scaling
  • Preparing support cost option analysis for systems and equipment
