STRATEGIC CUSTOMER ANALYST

Home Office - Bentonville, Arkansas

Irving Consumer Products produces branded and private label bathroom tissue, facial tissue, paper towels, as well as napkins.

 

The Strategic Customer Analyst will be the key business liaison between Irving Tissue & Diaper Supply Chain, Sales, Customer’s Business Unit and Flow teams. The Strategic Customer Analyst will ensure there is collaborative and effective alignment between Irving and Customer’s strategies, while working towards improving customer service, resolving issues and implementing cost saving initiatives



Requirements:

  • Education Required: BS/BA in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • Years of Experience Required: 2+ years experience as a VMI Analyst, Demand Planner, Replenishment Analyst, CPFR Analyst, or related field
  • Ability to assess customer needs, develop recommendations, and drive solution implementation
  • Analytical skills with the ability to manipulate, summarize and interpret large amounts of data using advanced Excel skills
  • Able to manage priorities and multi-task
  • Strong professional verbal, written and overall communication skills 
  • Ability to effectively summarize and present information 
  • Independent worker, reliable, resourceful, motivated and a fast learner
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office skills to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint 
  • Experience with relevant analytical tools such as Cognos, Tableau, Retail Link, SAP, or JDA would be considered an asset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Increase business synergies between Irving and the Customer
  • Collaboration with customer on forecast and buffers and complete root cause analysis through CPFR 
  • Prepare forecast reviews to improve forecast accuracy
  • Complete Lost Sales and Post Mortem analysis to improve processes and grow sales
  • Lead, create and execute continuous improvement initiatives
  • Establish, create and maintain KPI’s and data visualization
