E&I Maintenance Team Leader
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a E&I Maintenance Team Leader to join our dynamic team at the Irving Paper Mill.
As an Electrical & Instrumentation Team Leader, you will supervise a crew of approximately 10 to 15 electrical & instrumentation tradespeople throughout the mill, providing leadership in the areas of safety, housekeeping, productivity, quality and best practices. Your day-to-day work will also include facilitating problem-solving and troubleshooting activities and working collaboratively with team members in all departments. As a member of the maintenance team, you will also have opportunities to get involved with cross-functional strategic initiatives and training & development activities.

We operate four Pulp and Paper Mills out of Saint John and St. George, New Brunswick that produce a combined 1 Million Tonnes of Product and employ over 1000 employees.
You Have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or other completed 2-year (minimum) post-secondary program in Engineering or another technical discipline and/or a Red Seal in an Electrical/Instrumentation trade
- 3-5 years of experience in Pulp & Paper or other industrial environments is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Desire to grow and develop your leadership and technical capabilities.
- Exceptional communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge on CMMS software (experience on JD Edwards E1 an asset)
- Work order (WO) management
- Scheduling management
