The Opportunity

In this role, you will be responsible for all operational areas of the Terminal while ensuring efficiencies and on-time service goals are met. Your key responsibility would be to lead and guide consultative planning and the management of performance to implement and meet the objectives & strategies of the terminal while ensuring employee engagement.

The Best Fit

• You have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management;
• You have 10 years of management experience with increasing responsibilities in operations
• You have Transportation Industry experience with extensive knowledge in all areas of an LTL and TL operations
• You have energy, enthusiasm, and a professional demeanor
• You have strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• You have exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
• You are familiar with Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all operational areas relating to Transport while ensuring efficiencies and meeting on-time service goals
• Provide leadership to terminal staff
• Deliver Superior Quality Service to all customers and stakeholders
• Ensure Equity and Occupational Health and Safety are at the forefront
• Support staff through change while continuing to increase employee engagement
• Ensuring compliance with managing staff and company policies and regulations
• Review and control costs
• Ensure high productivity standards are met
• Support and promote continuous improvement
