Atlantic Towing Limited is a well established and growing marine transportation company with a diverse fleet of Harbour, Coastal/Deep Sea Tugs, and Offshore Supply Vessels with locations in Saint John, New Brunswick, Halifax, Nova Scotia, and St. John's, Newfoundland.

We are currently seeking applications for the position of Port Services Business Manager to join our Dartmouth operation. The Port Business Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Oversee Port Services business sector revenue; maximizing the growth and profitability by working in an integrated manner with the Atlantic Towing Sales & Marketing Team;
• Develop opportunities, secure work and execute work to fulfill contractual obligations;
• Analysis of pricing for specific commercial opportunities and development of cost models to support the bid process;
• Lead the dispatch team, ensuring the most efficient use of Ports & Coastal assets/tugs in the Saint John and Halifax Ports;
• Development of market analyses and compilation of industry information to identify opportunities for revenue growth, while monitoring possible competitors in our areas of work;
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers and industry stakeholders, developing detailed account strategies; includes customer visits, negotiations and presentations.

 Qualifications include:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar Business Development/Account Management or Operations leadership position
• Completion of post-secondary education or the equivalent in experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead people and change, manage deadlines and priorities
• Organizational skills and comfortable working with financials and other data
• Thrives in a fast pace and changing environment
• Ability to positively influence others by developing cooperative networks and building strong partnerships at all levels, both internally and externally
• Demonstrates strong teamwork, negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills
• Possess a high commitment to customer service and safe working practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Must have a valid passport and willing to travel domestically and internationally
