Reporting to the Senior Credit Manager with the Corporate Credit & Collections team, the Credit Analyst is accountable for the consistent application of credit policy in part related to credit reviews, periodic credit reviews of customer credit lines, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers. This position is responsible to support the management and execution of credit file review processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, review, and analyze credit files and make credit recommendations on overall creditworthiness of a given customer/group of customers.
- Determine lending conditions of a given customer/group of customers.
- Communication with Trade Credit Insurance Providers.
- Assist with credit file review processes and support credit files reviews workload.
- Maintain current knowledge of target industries, customers, and customer portfolios.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years’ experience as a credit analyst or similar role.
- Business degree or college certificate.
- Experience in Domestic Credit and possess a strong acumen in reading and analyzing financial statements.
- Effectively communicate across all levels within the organization
- Experience with customer communications and negotiations.
- Understand and maintain the requirement of strict confidentiality.
- Good analytical background. Full working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint.
