Sunbury Transport is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Night Shift Dispatcher located in Saint John, NB. 
 
 

Qualifications:

• Experience in the Transportation and Logistics industry considered an asset

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to work within a team

• Computer skills are essential (Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite).

 Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison with drivers based on their needs/questions regarding loads, schedules, paperwork, etc.

• Plan and dispatch drivers for required loads

• Coordination of maintenance when equipment breaks down

• Summarize and deliver relevant information to next shift

• Resolve customer issues and address special needs/requests when required

• Promote and support all safety initiatives when performing roles and responsibilities

• Monitor assigned loads and document any issues, resolutions, or escalation.
